I am Sameh Yoakim, An artist who works on both static and dynamic visual mediums with 7 years of working experience. Drawing and storytelling have always been my passion since childhood. I was born and live in Cairo. I studied graphics and advertising arts at the Academy of Art & Design in Egypt, graduating in 2013. Following my graduation, I worked as a full time storyboard and concept artist. Later, I studied animation online. In 2016, I began working as a traditional animator on TV Ads for “KSA Sports, Vodafone, Unicef, Etisalat, Ikea, Pfizer, Etisalat, Mondelez, Pladis, Misr Al-kher”. In 2020, I worked as a storyboard animatic artist on “Hassan The Brave” Featured Animation Film. Then I’ve worked as a director, storyboard artist, visual development artist, character designer and animator for animated advertisements,TV series for kids and documetries in Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Lebanon on projects such as‘’ MAHD Sports Academy, Jawi Music Animation, Fateen Adventures, Red Sea Film Festival Intro and Hady Soaan”. In addition to that, I have worked as a book artist with various Arabic publishing houses. My journey in the field has been characterized by continuous learning and growth. Currently, I am working on my first graphic novel written by me, which will be available soon.
